FIELD TRIP EXPERIENCE PROGRAMS

 

Pre-K & Grade 1

Return to Field Trips to the Village

Bucklebear- Let our vehicle safety puppet “Bucklebear” teach your students the importance of safety while riding in a car, staying in their car seat or booster seat, and keeping their seatbelt on!  This special program incorporates an entertaining lap puppet that interacts with young children on how to ride safely in the car.

Pedestrian Safety – Utilizing our miniature “city” with buildings, paved streets, sidewalks, a functioning traffic light, a railroad crossing, and a fire safety house children will learn all about traffic safety, staying on the sidewalk and how to correctly use traffic signals and crosswalk signals to safety cross the street.

9-1-1 For Kids – Teaching our children about the 9-1-1 emergency number is critical. This program is specially designed to teach our young children HOW and WHEN to dial 9-1-1, WHAT is an emergency and WHAT they need to know.

Registration Information

 

To Book A Field Trip Download and fill out a Field Trip Registration Request.

 Fax completed form to 407-521-4676 or email to Juanita.black@ocfl.net

Programs are offered Monday- Friday, between 9:30 – 12:00. Field trip programs begin at 9:30 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. and are one hour and half in length.  Teachers should select two programs and group size should not exceed 65 students.  Programs are subject to change without notice due to the availability of safety instructor.

 

Field Trip Fee: $5.00 per student

 

Chaperon Ratio: (1) Free adult for every 10 students
