Dangerous
Person Awareness –Role
playing activities that inform
children about strangers and the
most common lures used to entice
children. Students will
learn to recognize dangerous
situations and discuss why they need
to develop a family plan of action.
Internet Safety –
This program provides students with
valuable computer/internet safety
information and the necessary
resources and tools to navigate the
internet. Students will learn
appropriate safety skills that are
critical to keeping them safe when
they are on-line.
Water Safety-
This is a water orientation program
designed to teach students many
different ways to be safe in and
around water and water safety rules
are emphasizes. Students learn
basic water safety tips, survival
swimming and the potential danger
that can come from unsafe water
play. (Not
available December
– April)
