FIELD TRIP EXPERIENCE PROGRAMS

 

Grades 4 & 5

Return to Field Trips to the Village

Dangerous Person Awareness –Role playing activities that inform children about strangers and the most common lures used to entice children.         Students will learn to recognize dangerous situations and discuss why they need to develop a family plan of action.

Internet Safety – This program provides students with valuable computer/internet safety information and the necessary resources and tools to navigate the internet. Students will learn appropriate safety skills that are critical to keeping them safe when they are on-line. 

Water Safety- This is a water orientation program designed to teach students many different ways to be safe in and around water and water safety rules are emphasizes.  Students learn basic water safety tips, survival swimming and the potential danger that can come from unsafe water play.   (Not available December – April)

Registration Information

 

To Book A Field Trip Download and fill out a Field Trip Registration Request.

 Fax completed form to 407-521-4676 or email to Juanita.black@ocfl.net

Programs are offered Monday- Friday, between 9:30 – 12:00. Field trip programs begin at 9:30 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. and are one hour and half in length.  Teachers should select two programs and group size should not exceed 65 students.  Programs are subject to change without notice due to the availability of safety instructor.

 

Field Trip Fee: $5.00 per student

 

Chaperon Ratio: (1) Free adult for every 10 students
