Bike & Helmet Smart
– An interactive bicycle
safety program that uses
visually stimulating
activities and a peer- to
peer approach to teaching
students how to “bike safe
and bike smart.” Students
learn essential information
about safe riding practices,
how to correctly fit a
bicycle helmet, rules of the
road, signaling and riding
at night.
Fire Safety –
This interactive program
includes a trip through our
fire safety house complete
with a “smoke machine” which
demonstrates to the students
how smoke would fill a room.
Children will practice what
to do in the event of smoke
or fire. They will practice
“fall and crawl”, checking
doors for heat and then exit
out to safety.
